Alison has been a certified fitness instructor since 2006, teaching a wide variety of classes including belly dance, Bellyfit®, yoga, circuit, weight lifting, step, and aerobics.

An AFLCA® certified group exercise and resistance training instructor, she is a graduate of the South Okanagan Yoga Academy (SOYA) 500-hour yoga teacher training and has certifications in Bellyfit® and fusion fitness training. Alison has experience working one-on-one with clients and working in a group setting. 

Amanda is a Canfitpro certified Fitness Instructor Specialist (FIS), and has been an Eastlink Centre employee since 2014. She has always been passionate about fitness, and now enjoys every opportunity to teach and inspire others through her high energy classes. Amanda specializes in Boot camps, Tabata, and HIIT classes, and in addition, she is always practicing her choreography and perfecting her Step skills.

A former competitive skier, Andrea is a trainer with a youth and family focus. She has completed NCCP coaching courses as well as High Five training, giving her a well-rounded knowledge of the different aspects of sport and active living.  Andrea took a break from the ski world to branch out and coach biking as well as general fitness.

Brenda's journey in water fitness began seven years ago and she has been teaching at the Eastlink Centre for three years. Brenda was taught by master trainers and has lost a staggering 170 pounds.

Brenda continues to look for more advancement through education in WaterART Fitness. You can join Brenda for a great workout in the 50m pool, 25m pool and the Lazy River.

A retired teacher, Carol now spends her time teaching deep water aqua fitness to seniors and works as a Marriage Commissioner in between pool times. Carol thoroughly enjoys her time at the pool and encourages more seniors to join her group for shallow or deep water classes.

Carolyn is originally from Lebanon and became a Yoga instructor in 2015. Carolyn specializes in breathing technique, meditation, stretch and relaxation, belly dance and gentle yoga. Carolyn is a master of Reiki and is studying reflexology and holistic nutrition.

Gail has been teaching water fitness for approximately 2 years and has recently completed her Seniors Certification. Although she is normally used to teaching high intensity classes, she is now teaching river walking as well. Gail is currently working on completing her rehabilitation certificate.

Helen is a CSEP certified trainer, with her TRX certification and older adult certification. She is a huge fan of body weight functional exercises, circuits, Tabata and HIIT finding any way to incorporate cardio with strength. Helen enjoys obstacle and trail racing and is always looking for different ways to prepare herself for the different obstacles.

Jennifer is a Certified Personal Trainer with CSEP. She has been working with the Eastlink Centre for close to a year, excelling in group training sessions. Jen enjoys working with people new to exercise and with special considerations. Her workouts are fun and personable, making a connection with her clients is key to their success!

Jessica is a passionate fitness and life coach, helping people realize their potential for over 15 years. Jessica is an ACE certified personal trainer, NCCP Olympic Lifting coach, TWIST Sport Conditioning coach, AFLCA and TRX group training leader. Jessica enjoys trail running, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, mountain climbing, backpacking and traveling with her husband and children in her leisure time.

Josie has been a certified fitness instructor through the AFLCA for the past 6 years and has multiple certifications, including: Resistance Training, AFLCA, Group Exercise Specialty Leader, AFLCA, Cycle Designation, Portable Equipment Designation, Mind and Body Designation, Bender Barre Training Certification, Total Barre Certification, Kangoo Power Certification. Her water fitness certifications include: Aquatic Instructor Certification, Aquatic Senior Instructor Certification, Aquatic Kidz Instructor Certification, & Aquatic Pre-Post Natal Instructor Certification.

Karen is AFLCA® certified with specialties in group exercise and resistance training. She has been teaching fitness classes for 17 years and enjoys teaching in a group setting. As a fitness enthusiast, Karen brings knowledge, positive motivation and energy to each of her classes.

Kasey teaches Water Fitness, TAP 1 on 1, River Walking and assesses individuals for the T.A.P. program.

Kayla Murray is an aquatic fitness instructor at the Eastlink Centre. Kayla loves aquatics and helping people improve and maintain their fitness. She is most known for her smile and positive nature.

Kerri is a 200 hour certified Yoga Instructor, with additional training from India in Akhanda Yoga and Tibetan Buddhist Meditation. Formerly a pre-professional dancer at The Edmonton School of Ballet, she discovered Yoga first as a challenging form of exercise and later discovered the healing benefits Yoga had on her own struggles with depression and anxiety.

Friendly, supportive and encouraging, Kerri is very grateful to work with you towards your goals of building a whole rounded yoga practice, with both physical and therapeutic benefits.

Lana is a CSEP Certified Personal Trainer and strives to teach her clients how to improve their quality of life with fitness and nutrition. Lana’s own fitness program gives her the strength and determination to be an energetic parent to three teenage boys. She enjoys strength training, running, hiking, cycling, horse riding, yoga, Pilates, and TRX Training.

Lana is a CSEP Certified Personal Trainer ® who has been in the fitness industry for 7 years and has studied Fitness Leadership at GPRC.

Leslie is certified as an AFLCA Fitness Leader in Group Exercise (mind-body/ portable equipment/ cycle), Resistance Training and Ever Active Kids Physical Literacy, a Level 1 NCCP (Fundamentals) Swim Coach and a Yoga for Children teacher. Over this past year she also received her certification as a Level 1 Precision Nutrition Coach. Leslie has a background as a competitive swimmer and cross country runner. Currently, Olympic weight lifting has captured her attention.

Lynn has been teaching for 7.5 years and is certified in step, cycle, portable equipment, mind and body, TRX and Barre. A kids’ soccer coach, Lynn has a passion for sports and has competed in basketball, volleyball and hockey. You can find Lynn teaching cycle/strength class, Body Barre, Step and Mommy and Me Fitness.

Michelle has been in the fitness industry for six years and has over 14 years of experience as a gymnastics coach. She has certifications in TRX® Suspension Training, TRX® Functional Training, TRX® Group Training, TRX® for Yoga, Schwinn® Cycling Instructor Training, Can-Fit-Pro - Fitness Instructor Specialist, Can-Fit-Pro - Personal Trainer Specialist, Pilates Mat Instructor, Yoga Exercise Specialist, YMCA Basic Theory for Instructors, YMCA Group Fitness Leader, NCCP Level Two Artistic Gymnastics Coach, and NCCP Level One Trampoline Coach.

Robin is a mother and wife living her dream by teaching and coaching others to reach their fitness potential. She enjoys training for different fitness goals from trail running to CrossFit.

Since being the first graduate of the two year Fitness Leadership Diploma program with Older Adult Specialization in 2010, the first of its kind in North America, Sherry has been teaching various land and water classes throughout the community and facilitating Purposeful Movement Workshops throughout Northern Alberta. She holds certifications as an AFLCA Older Adult Specialty Leader, Physical Culture Association Master Course Instructor, WaterArt Certified Instructor, WaterArt Senior Instructor, WaterArt Arthritis Instructor and most recently, Essentrics Level 1 Instructor.

Tammy has been teaching fitness classes for 18 years and water fitness classes for 12 years and holds a Kinesiology diploma from Red Deer College. You can find Tammy teaching boot camps, Cycle, TRX, Fusion, strength and core classes. In the water, you will find her teaching shallow, deep water and river classes.
